CAN I ALSO IMPORT A VW KOMBI BUS FROM BRAZIL ON MY OWN?

No. To export a VW T1 or T2 bus from Brazil, you need an export license, which is only issued to Brazilian exporters under many conditions.

I NEED A TRANSPORT TO THE SHIPPING PORT, IS THIS POSSIBLE?

WHAT DOES THE EXPORT DECLARATION INCLUDE AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

The Brazilian VW station wagon must be released for export by the Brazilian customs office. This includes the notarial verification of ownership and liabilities of the vehicle, as well as the transfer of ownership. It lasts about 6-8 weeks and is carried out by our local agent.

DO I HAVE TO BE ON SITE IN BRAZIL?

No. Our agent is on site, keeps you up to date and takes care of the delivery up to the container shipping of your VW station wagon.

HOW CAN I REACH THE AGENT?

After placing the order, we will establish contact between you and our agent. He is a native European and speaks: German, English, French, Dutch, Portuguese & Russian.

FROM WHICH BRAZILIAN PORTS DO YOU PROVIDE CONTAINER SHIPMENTS?

Due to speed, frequency and cheap handling costs we ship from Santos / Sao Paulo, unless otherwise requested.

HOW LONG DOES THE TRANSPORT OF A VW COMBIS FROM BRAZIL TAKE?

WHERE CAN I PICK UP MY BRAZILIAN BULLI IMPORT?

Your vehicle will be ready for pickup in our warehouse in Bremerhaven after container unloading and customs clearance. If you want to save time, money or even holidays, we also bring your VW estate car to the front door by car transporter.

DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO PAY IN ADVANCE?

Basically, it is customary when buying a car in Brazil to go in advance. It is important to transfer the amount quickly because the Brazilian Real is unstable and the sellers do not take any risks.

HOW CAN I MINIMIZE THE RISK OF A FOREIGN PAYMENT?

In cooperation with our agent, we offer a EUR transfer service: you transfer the money to us and we forward it to our agent in Brazil by rapid transfer. He pays the vehicle just before pickup and transports it to the port of shipment.

Important: This is not a fiduciary service!

TO WHOM DO I PAY THE IMPORT DUTY AND TAX?

Unless otherwise agreed, the import duties according to the tax assessment, together with freight and handling costs, are calculated in a single invoice before delivery of the T1 / T2 bus.

WHAT PAYING METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

You have the opportunity to pay cash or by bank transfer, card payment is currently not possible.

DO YOU ALSO OFFER TÜV REFITTING?

We are happy to arrange a transfer to a Bremerhaven refitting company, which specializes in the homologation of Brazilian VW estate cars.

WHAT IS A ZOLLUNEVITABILITY CERTIFICATE (ZUB) AND WHERE DO I GET THIS?

You will receive the ZUB from us by courier together with all vehicle documents available to us. It is issued by the relevant customs office and you need it for the registration office for the purpose of registration of the vehicle.

WHAT UNEXPECTED COSTS CAN COME UP?

Our offers contain basically all expected costs. From time to time, however, there may be additional costs due to official instructions or unforeseen events.
